Steven E. Anders, PhD, (President) earned his BA, MA and PhD from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He served as a Documents Librarian at Miami University; taught at Indiana University East, John Tyler Community College and the Osher Institute at the University of Richmond. He served as the Command Historian for the U.S. Army Quartermaster Corps from 1984 to 2009. From 2010 to 2013, he served as the Command Historian for the U.S. Army Combined Arms Support Command and Fort Lee. He also held the title of Professor of Military and Logistics History at the Army Logistics University at Fort Lee.
Judith I. Johnson (Secretary) earned a BS from Radford University, MSBA from Boston University, and MA from Virginia State University. She taught in public schools in Virginia, then was an instructor for Big Bend Community College and Temple University while living in Germany. In 2000, she earned a landscape design certificate from George Washington University and was President of Buckhorn Creek Nursery from 20002004. She as been an Associate Professor of English at John Tyler Community College since 1992.
Lee Jarratt (Treasurer) earned a BS and MBA at Virginia Commonwealth University. He is a licensed CPA in Virginia and North Carolina and has served as Treasurer for Hanover Academy Patron’s Association, Oak Knoll Middle School PTA, and Hanover High School Theatre Patrons. He has been involved in theatre both onstage and in technical capacities, recently returning to performance. He has been involved with various nonprofit organizations in Dare County, North Carolina, and Central Virginia. He is a graduate of the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Clown College and currently serves on the board of directors of the International Clown Hall of Fame and Research Center in Baraboo, Wisconsin.
Caitlin Nolan holds a B.A. in Theatre and Dance from Old Dominion University. She is a member of the Junior League of Richmond where she serves on the Donor Relations committee. Caitlin is active in the artistic community through theatre, music, and dance. She sings professionally in an acoustic band in Petersburg, Hopewell, Chester and Richmond. She is a participant, volunteer, and advocate for the arts and believes that serving her community is her responsibility and supports The Illuminated Stage as Volunteer Chair.
David Williams is the owner and Creative Director of Snozberry Farm working with numerous top-tier advertising agencies and with many national clients. He received is MA from Virginia Commonwealth University’s Brandcenter and is an Adjunct Professor at VCU’s Roberston School of Media and Culture. His work has been featured in numerous shows and publications including the ADDYs, The One Show, Ads of the World, Creativity, Print, and Luerzer's Archive.
